THE Subway is now running again following an incident at rush hour.

Emergency services were on the scene at West Street station dealing with an issue with a passenger.

Both circles were suspended but the outer circle has now reopened.

West Street Station, however, remains closed, and services will not stop at the station.

The Inner circle remains suspended.

A spokeswoman for SPT confirmed the incident but would give no further details.

She said: "It is a passenger related incident and emergency services are in attendance."

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service also said four fire appliances attended at West Street Station.

On Twitter, transport bosses said a shuttle service is currently in operation.

A tweet read: "Subway is currently running a shuttle service on the inner circle between Partick and Govan and on the outer circle between Ibrox and Partick, (stopping at Govan) in both directions."
