MOTORISTS were experiencing delays in and around Glasgow this morning amid the usual congestion this morning.
A four-car crash on the M8 eastbound caused heavy traffic for motorists.
Traffic Scotland alerted Twitter users to the road traffic accident at 7.20am.

The team said :”#M8 eastbound J27- 4 car RTC blocking lane 3 of 3. Traffic is heavy on approach. TRISS and [police] are en route.”

It was cleared by 7.45am.

The Scottish Ambulance Service said it was not called out to the incident.
Delays were also being seen on the M8 westbound, from junction 13 to 17 at Great Western Road and also on the M77 northbound, from junction 3 to 2 at Silverburn.
