A man has been arrested and charged after allegedly seriously assualting a woman at Buchanan Bus Station yesterday morning.
Police and emergency services arrived at the scene around 5.20am on Friday following a reported attack on a 27-year-old.
The victim was taken to the Royal Infirmary for treatment but was later released.
A 27-year-old has been arrested and charged for the alleged incident.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Police received a report of a man having seriously assaulted a 27-year-old woman at around 5:20am in Buchanan Bus Station on Friday December 14.
"Emergency services attended and the woman was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary and released after treatment.
"The 23-year-old will appear in court on Monday and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
