EVERYONE’S favourite sausage roll shop has come to the rescue for stressed Christmas shoppers this holiday season.
Greggs has come to the rescue with a gift range - as well as a complimentary gift- wrapping service.
The service launches in five Greggs shops nationwide from December 11.
The chain’s Buchanan Galleries branch in Glasgow has been selected as the only Scottish store.
The shop’s own elves will be wrapping up gifts in bespoke wrapping paper featuring a festival bake design free of charge.
For those struggling to find a gift, the shop will also be introducing limited edition stocking fillers, including the first-ever Greggs jumper, a sausage roll inspired umbrella, phone case, reusable cup, Christmas cards, a high roller gift card and a set of pin badges in the image of favourite menu items.
The new festive service comes as a result of new research which reveals how nearly three-quarters of Scots (74%) admit they find the build up to Christmas stressful, with shopping for presents, wrapping gifts and getting Christmas decorations out of storage named as the chores dreaded the most.
Gift-wrapping is a long and tiresome process; on average, the public spends just under two hours wrapping all their gifts.
The service launches from December 11 to 13 between 4pm and 8pm.
