COPS have sealed off an area outside Springburn Shopping Centre following a report of an assault.
The force are currently at the popular shopping area where it is understood a fight took place prior to the assault.
Officers rushed to the scene after 10.35am on Monday.
A source told the Evening Times that a man had been stabbed in the throat. He was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary and his condition is unknown.
Police remain at the scene and said enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "At around 10.35am, police received a report of a man being seriously assaulted outside Springburn Shopping Centre.
"Emergency services and he was taken to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
