The date for this year's Christmas light switch-on has been confirmed.
Glasgow Life has today revealed that the annual event, which takes place in George Square, will occur on Sunday, November 19.

A spokesperson for Glasgow Loves Christmas said: "We are looking forward to bringing Glasgow’s Christmas lights switch-on back to George Square on Sunday November 19, 2023.
"More details about this year’s event will be confirmed soon."

The confirmation comes after La Vita on George Square told customers yesterday to pre-book tables ahead of the event on Sunday, November 19.
They wrote on Instagram: "The Annual George Square Christmas Light Switch-on has been announced for Sunday, November 19 so book your table now.
"Only the a la carte Menu will be available. Window seats cannot be guaranteed."
