People of the world could hardly contain their excitement when Walt Disney Pictures unveiled it's plans to re-create Beauty and the Beast - one of Disney's most fondly remembered classics - in stunning live-action.

The upcoming musical remake, set for release in 2017, boasts a star-studded cast composed of the crème de la crème in British acting talent. Emma Watson (Harry Potter, The Perks of Being a Wallflower) will play the beautiful protagonist Belle, the youngest child of a strict, poor merchant, and Dan Stevens (Downton Abbey) her Beast with whom she falls in love.
