MACFARLANE WILLIAM. Peacefully at Gartnavel Hospital, on Sunday 17th February 2019. Bill, loving husband of the late Peggy, much loved dad of Alan, Ian and Rona, beloved brother of Sandra and Sheila, greatly missed grandad, great-grandad and uncle. Funeral service, to which all friends are respectfully invited, at Glasgow Crematorium, Maryhill, on Tuesday 26th February at 2.15pm. No flowers please.

I had the honour of calling Bill my father-in-law for 42 years, and my heart breaks at the thought of not speaking or seeing him again. Bill was a kind, funny, generous family man, who loved his family and friends so much. He has left a legacy of memories that we all will cherish to help us get through this very sad time.

Rest in peace Bill, you will be forever in my heart.
