CELTIC fans making the journey to Brussels for the club's European clash on Wednesday have been warned they face being arrested if they don’t have tickets.
Around 1,200 Hoops supporters are expected to make the trip to Belgium for the UEFA Champions League clash with Anderlecht tomorrow.
Fans, however, have been warned that security will be ramped up for the tie at the Constant Vanden Stock stadium.
It comes as the country remains on red terror alert a month after a knifeman attacked two soldiers in the city.
Anderlecht released a statement on their official website with the warning that away fans risk being nicked if they are caught without valid tickets.
The statement said: “RSC Anderlecht would like to remind all fans of Celtic FC who will be making the trip to Brussels that it is mandatory to be in possession of a valid match ticket when they are present in the territory of Anderlecht or the neighbouring community of Saint Gilles.
“All Celtic supporters who can’t show a valid match ticket when asked by the authorities risk being arrested.”
