A Peugeot driver has had his motor seized after allegedly being caught with no insurance.

Officers say they stopped the road user in the early hours of Saturday morning in Eastwood, East Renfrewshire.

Following that, police claimed the driver, a 40-year-old man, only held a provisional licence and was uninsured.

He was reported to the Procurator Fiscal and had his car seized.
