The summer months have arrived and in Glasgow, that means outdoor music.

The city has already experienced indoor gigs consistently during the year with successful shows from Elton John and Post Malone.

But with gigs from British and international superstars and of course, TRNSMT fast approaching, we look at some of the biggest and best music entertainment due to take place outdoors in the city over the next month or so.

4. Guns n Roses – Bellahouston Park – Tuesday, June 27

Just two days after Arctic Monkeys, Californian rockers Guns n Roses will take the same stage.

Axl Rose and Slash will finally play in Glasgow again after their outdoor gig in Glasgow Green was cancelled in July 2022.

The rescheduled gig has been three years in the making due to previous postponements – here’s hoping the Paradise City and Welcome to the Jungle stars are able to put on a show for the expectant crowd.

9. Red Hot Chili Peppers – Hampden Park – Sunday, July 23

The last stop in their global tour, the Californication band is looking to finish their tour with a bang. Having released their 12th and 13th albums last year, there’s bound to be a mix of the new sounds combined with the older classics even casual fans will know.

Originally scheduled for Bellahouston Park last summer, fans will be looking forward to finally being able to see the band that has been performing for over 40 years.
