An early morning crash on a Glasgow motorway is causing traffic to slow.
Shortly after 7am, Traffic Scotland took to Twitter to warn drivers of a collision on the M8 Junction 18 eastbound at Charing Cross.
It is understood that two vehicles were involved in the crash with police called to assist.

The earlier collision on the #M8 at J18 Eastbound has now been removed from the carriageway.

Although the carriageway has since been cleared, delays are expected as a result of the incident with traffic moving slowly in all lanes.
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
