A SHOW at the Pavilion Theatre has been rescheduled following a "traffic accident". 

The Magic of Motown, which was due to take place on Sunday, April 21, has been rescheduled to Sunday, May 19. 

Producers of the show said it cannot go ahead as planned due to the accident which involved the production. 

The nature of the accident or where it took place is not known. 

A statement from producers said: "Due to a traffic accident involving the production, the performance of The Magic of Motown scheduled to take place at Glasgow Pavilion on Sunday, April 21 can no longer proceed as planned.

"The performance has now been rescheduled to Sunday, May 19 and your tickets are valid for the rescheduled date."

Tickets purchased for tomorrow's show are valid for the new date.

The Magic of Motown features music from artists such as Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, The Supremes, The Four Tops, The Jackson 5 and more. 

Now in its 18th year, the show has been seen by more than one million people.
