THE bodies of a man and woman have been found inside a property in Greenock.
The discovery was made after police were called to a home in the town's Banff Road at around 5.05pm yesterday following a report of concern for the people inside.
Cops said the deaths are currently being treated as unexplained.
An investigation has been launched to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 5.05pm on Friday, January 5, 2024, police were called to a property in Banff Road, Greenock, following a report of concern for the people within.
"Officers attended and the bodies of a man and woman were discovered.
"The deaths are currently being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident."
