Dance punk group, Paramore, comprising of frontwoman Hayley Williams, Zac Farro and Taylor York, will take to the stage in Glasgow this month.

The band grew in popularity in the mid-2000s with songs like Misery Business and is still viewed as one of the best emo and alternative rock bands around.

The concert date comes off the back of Paramore's hugely successful return to touring in the US.

When is Paramore playing at the OVO Hydro?

Paramore will play at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow on Monday, April 17, 2023, with doors to open at 6:30 pm.

The showtimes will be released three days before the actual date.

How to get tickets for Paramore at the OVO Hydro

There are still some resale tickets to be found on the OVO Hydro's Ticketmaster page in the seated areas but the General Admission appears to be totally sold out.

Will there be any support acts at the Paramore gig in Glasgow?

Paramore is being supported by the English rock band Bloc Party, a group known for its underground hit Like Eating Glass.

London-based musician Rozi Plain will also be accompanying the tour as a support act.

What are the age restrictions for Paramore at the OVO Hydro?

As per the rules of the event, no under-8s can attend the Paramore gig on April 17.

Only those aged over 14 are allowed in the standing area while under 16s must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18.

What items are banned from the Paramore gig at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow?

Bags larger than A3 size are not permitted into the Paramore show but can be deposited in a cloakroom at the SEC Centre for £5 per item.

Cigarettes and E-Cigarettes are banned as they are in all public indoor environments.

Professional audio and video recording equipment are not permitted at the event. However, small, non-professional cameras and phones are allowed.

Selfie sticks are also banned as are signs, banners, and flags over A3 size or with a pole(s).

How to get to the OVO Hydro for Paramore show?

Train: The OVO Hydro has its very own train station, allowing for easy access for music lovers.

Six trains per hour (around every 10 minutes) depart from Glasgow Central Station from Platform 17 in the station's lower level.

There is then a walkway that leads directly from the Hydro station to the events arena.

Bus: The X19 Stagecoach stops a few minutes walk from the OVO Hydro and runs from Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Govan to Easterhouse.

Parking: The OVO Hydro has multi-storey parking (operated by Glasgow City Council) available for all OVO Hydro visitors. There are also on-site machines on the ground floor.
