A group of Milngavie work friends have gone viral after trying to cheer up their heartbroken colleague.

The AMS Baggage Transfers workers Ryan Mitchell, 32, and Gary Bell, 26, made their best efforts to help pal Blair Cassidy, 19, bounce back after his breakup.

The pair videoed themselves belting out 'Believe' by American singing icon Cher in their work van.

Disappointly, the lyrics 'Do you believe in life after love' failed to have the desired effectt as the teenager sits forlorn during the singalong.

Uploading the video to his business Facebook page, Ryan wrote: “So young Blair was slightly quiet in the van today so Gary and I tried to cheer him up. Maybe the song is before his time.”

Blair refuses to join in on the fun, and instead only musters up a reluctant smile.

The video has gone viral two weeks after it was uploaded with views jumping to 79,000 and attracting 1,500 likes from social media.

The video was posted two weeks ago and didn’t take off initially.

Social media users appeared to enjoy the performance more than Blair, with hundreds commenting underneath.

Debbie Lees commented: "Ooft! I’d smile straight away if you sang to me!".
