DRIVERS have been warned to expect delays as a south side road is closed.

Langside Drive will shut for "essential Scottish Water sewer upgrading works" between Riverside Road and Tantallon Road from 9.30am on Mondaym June 18.

It's expected the works will be completed by 6pm on Friday, November 30.

The east footway of Langside Drive will remain open throughout the works for pedestrians and cyclists, however, cyclists will be instructed to dismount.

Some of Tantallon Road will also be closed between number 490 Tantallon Road and Langside Drive for five days beginning on Monday.

Diversions will be in place via Millbrae Road, Langside Avenue, Kilmarnock Road, Newlands Road and vice versa.
