A MISSING teenager who has mental health issues has been spotted on CCTV in Govanhill days after he vanished from hospital.
Thomas Lennox, 19, of Airdrie, was last seen at Hairmyres Hospital at around 7.20pm on Friday, June 8.
Cops have now confirmed a sighting of Thomas on CCTV walking along Victoria Road at around 2.30am on Sunday, June 10.
He is described as 5ft 8 inches in height and of stocky build with short black hair.
When he was last seen, he was wearing a black and grey zipped hooded top, black tracksuit bottoms with writing on the left hand side and red trainers.
Constable Ian Peebles, of East Kilbride Police Station, said: “Police and Thomas’s family are growing increasingly concerned about his wellbeing and we are appealing for members of the public to help us trace him.
“Thomas has mental health issues and he may be without his prescribed medication. He has not made contact with any family or friends which is out of character.
“He is known to frequent the East Kilbride and Airdrie areas, and we know he was in the south side of Glasgow in the early hours of Sunday morning. We would ask people to please look out for him and report any sightings to police.
“Anyone with information regarding Thomas’s whereabouts is asked to contact East Kilbride Police Station via 101, quoting incident number 3972 of Friday 8 June 2018.”
