GLASGOW is set to be hotter than TENERIFE as the much-anticipated heatwave moves in for the next week.
Today will, again, be dry with long spells of warm sunshine lasting well into the weekend.

With the mercury tipped to hit highs of 24C, Scotland’s biggest city will be hotter than the Canary Island which is set for temperatures of around 20C amid a period of wet and miserable weather.

Friday will be another dry day with long spells of sunshine. Feeling very warm - especially across Argyll and Ayrshire - the maximum temperature is expected to reach 24C.
Saturday to Monday will remain quite warm and mostly dry with good spells of sunshine through the weekend and into the start of Bank Holiday Monday.
