Man arrested after pensioner is robbed in church in Rutherglen
A MAN has been arrested after a pensioner was robbed in a church.
The 73-year-old man was targeted within St Columbkille's RC Church in Kirkwood Street in Rutherglen at around 10pm on Sunday.
Police Scotland confirmed that a 41-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the alleged robbery.
He is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
