ARGOS is recalling a range of its heaters over fears they could burn customers and may cause electrical shocks.
Customers who have a Simple Value 2Kw Upright Fan Heater at home are being urged to return it to the store in exchange for a full refund.
The company is recalling heaters with the catalogue number 730/9687 and the model number FH03.
Argos' faulty heaters were on sale in stores across the UK and also online.
The recall notice was issued by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute and Electrical Safety this week but the heater first recalled in mid-December last year.
In a notice issued on Electrical Safety's website, the group said: "Argos have recalled the Simple Value 2kW Upright Fan Heater.
"The product is being recalled due to a risk of electric shock and burn hazard.
"If you have purchased one of these fan heaters, please stop using it immediately and return to your nearest Argos store for a full refund or replacement product as soon as possible."
