A MAN found himself in the dock after doing a favour for a friend.
Stephen McMahon, 45, was snared by police as he held on to cannabis resin – worth an estimated street value of £5,600 – for someone else.
At Glasgow Sheriff Court, McMahon pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of the Class B drug.
The haul was discovered at his home address on December 10, 2017.
The accused, of Abercromby Street, was sentenced to a Community Payback Order with 140 hours of unpaid work to be completed within six months.
