COMMUNITIES across Glasgow and Scotland are set to come alive this summer, thanks to the Glasgow 2018 European Championships.
The exciting new multi-sport event will be bringing together some of the continent’s leading sports from August 2 to 12.
With volunteering opportunities being quickly snapped up, a wave of paid roles are started to be advertised.
Many of the positions are paying up to £14 per hour.
Jobs up for grabs include transport officer, uniforms assistant, transport and accommodation officer and accreditation assistant.

As well as the main sporting event, George Square will become the beating heart of a vibrant Cultural Festival.
The city centre will be brought to life with a creative hub showcasing the very best of Scottish and Glaswegian culture.
The city’s renowned Merchant City Festival will also become an integral part of the celebrations.
The sporting event is being staged for the first time in a partnership between Glasgow and Berlin.
The partnership will create a new event on the world stage every four years elevating the status of European Champions and attracting a potential television audience of 1.03 billion with a wider online audience.
