In the video, the Gavin and Stacey star says: “Hello this is Sir Sean Connery looking strangely like the Welsh comedian Rob Brydon.
"I’m here to tell you about the Kiltwalk: you walk in a kilt for a charity of your choice. It could be five miles, it could be 13, it could be more. Whatever you raise for your charity The Hunter Foundation will top up by 40%."

Last year, more than 14,000 Scots took part in the Kiltwalk helping to raise over £2.5 million for over 780 charities across Scotland. Thanks to the 40% bonus from The Hunter Foundation, for every £100 raised by a walker, your chosen charity receives £140. This unique fundraising method is one of the most effective ways to fundraise.
Paul Cooney, Chief Executive of the Royal Bank of Scotland Kiltwalk, said: “It’s brilliant to have yet another high-profile individual showing their support.
"The Kiltwalk is a success because of the amazing people who take part in the event. With four walks scheduled across Scotland this year and three different lengths to choose from there’s no excuse.

"Get your kilt on and get walking for Scotland’s charities and help to make a real difference to the lives of people who need it the most."
Walkers can choose from four Kiltwalks this year, the first in Glasgow on 29 April, Aberdeen on 3 June, St Andrews to Dundee on 19 August and Edinburgh on 16 September. Each walk has three distances to choose from to suit people of all ages and abilities. With Glasgow, the 23-mile Mighty Stride starts in Glasgow Green and ends in Balloch, there’s also a 14-mile Big Stroll and six-mile Wee Wander.
